613593: Arlington—Mystic River Path Connection to the Minuteman Bikeway New Project This earmark will fund the design of a link between the northern end of the Alewife Brook Greenway to the Minuteman Bikeway in Arlington Center via a 12-foot-wide path along the waterways and redesign the rotaries at major intersections.  Discretionary: FFY 2022 Congresionally Directed Spending $0 $1,250,000 $1,250,000
S12871: Dover–Needham—Centre Street/ Central Avenue Bridge Design New Project This is a new line item to fund the design and engineering of the Centre Street/Central Avenue bridge in Dover.  The project was programmed in the FFYs 2023-27 TIP in Amendment Three but could not be executed due to contracting delays. S12872: Brookline—Beacon Street Bridle Path Design (Design Only) New Project This line item programs a $2,000,000 FFY 2023 Community Project Funding request to design the reopening and restoration of Fredrick Law and John Charles Olmsted’s original design for Beacon Street to incorporate a two-way multiuse path for 2.3 miles of the roadway.  The project is matched with $500,000 in state funds. *The MBTA, Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA), and MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA), which are Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5307(c) applicants, have consulted with the MPO and concur that the public involvement process adopted by the MPO for the development of the TIP satisfies the public hearing requirements that pertain to the development of the Program of Projects for regular Section 5307, Urbanized Area Formula Program, grant applications, including the provision for public notice and the time established for public review and comment.
