Yes. Our advisory committee of stakeholders identifies additional factors prior to each funding cycle. These include things that are not easily scored, such as geographic distribution of funding or project scalability (for projects that can take a partial funding award). |
Constructability and applicant capacity/reliability. |
We consider a project sponsor's ability to deliver a final product and their prior experience in delivering a project in a timely manner. We also focus on whether they will be able to complete a project/program prior to funds expiring. We consider the consulting team's experience as well as that a sponsor is using for a project. We require all project/program applicants to meet with us so we can confirm that they are familiar with requirements, standards, and regulations to move forward with a project. |
