The Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is updating its Public Participation Plan, which defines the strategies and activities used to engage members of the public in the transportation planning and decision-making process. A draft of the updated plan has been released for a 45-day public-review and comment period, which will close at 5:00 PM on October 8, 2014. Several public meetings will be held to discuss the plan and gather comments and ideas for improving it.

The MPO is scheduled to approve an update to the Public Participation Plan at the MPO meeting on October 16 at 10:00 AM, in conference Rooms 2 and 3 of the State Transportation Building, 10 Park Plaza, in Boston.
